I started cooking and baking more than 40 years ago.  For as long as I can remember, I have loved creating new recipes and making old ones.  I believe that I have the gift of teaching others how to cook and bake.  Even though I spend lots of time with my cooking and baking, during the day, I’m a very dedicated fifth grade teacher in a public school system in New Jersey. I started this blog in order to preserve wonderful heirloom recipes treasured by my own family as well as my memories that are associated with these recipes.  This way, these recipes and memories can never be lost. And I’m happy to be able to share these recipes now with people who visit my blog.  My vision is for you to be able to join my blog and record your family’s treasured recipes right here.  I also hope that some you will hire me to help you learn to cook and bake any of my recipes or any of your family’s treasured recipes right in the comfort of your own kitchen or in mine.
